On Lily's birthday, we went to the Philadelphia Zoo. We met up with her little friend Nathaniel, his mom and dad, Natalie and Bob, and his grandmother, Marie. We had a great time seeing the animals, though not up close! Lily would reach out to the animals and say, "I hold it, Mommy?" But as they passed two feet in front of her she would just about climb up my leg! In fact, she was so afraid as the jaguar passed by, she grabbed the leg of a man and hugged it like a tree. I picked her up and apologized to him, saying she was very scared. He said, "She's scared?! I thought a jaguar just got my leg!"
