sweet girl

Sorry for the fuzzy photos, but look at my sweet girl! She is so fascinated by our little Christmas tree. She goes from ornament to ornament, talking softly to herself.  She will tell you (again and again) which ones are hers; she can't stop touching them.

She loved Halloween--didn't want to stop. Then she thought Thanksgiving was another Halloween and kept asking when we would get candy from our neighbors. We had to keep explaining to her that Halloween was one day and Thanskgiving was another. So we really confused her when she awoke from a nap one day to our little tree, all lit up. "IT'S CHRISTMAS!!!" "No, honey. Christmas is in four more weeks..." I had a hard time explaining the one-day holidays versus the month-long ones and ending up distracting her with something else. Probably a shiny ornament.

By the way...  4 DAYS UNTIL BABY #2 ARRIVES!  Crazy!
