figures

So it's taken me a week to get any kind of message on here. Of course, as soon as I do, Lily wakes up. Figures. We'll see if she settles down again...

So, this blog may not be very exciting to all, but at least I can share a few things going on with our family. I don't promise you literary excellence, drama or humor, just a sweet peek at our little world. I named the blog The Lovely Years after a Fisher song that is very special to us. I'll see if I can link it to the blog (yeah right!)

Lily is starting to wave - not sure if it's on purpose. She also gives kisses on command. Big, wet, slobbery ones. And, if you're lucky, she'll rub her face back and forth to wipe her runny nose on your cheek. Does wonders for the complexion. The other night we were looking at a picture book of babies and she kissed the babies! She did it again 3 times with prompting. She stopped as soon as i got out the video camera. Figures.

Jamin is having some guy time today with 3 friends. They are at the Philly Auto Show (David!) at the convention center. One friend is European and is therefore genetically prediposed to love cars; the second owns a racing motorcycle; the third owns a old motorcycle and a yellow! sports car. So I'm sure Jamin is having a good time right now. I can only talk about cars and wheels and such for so long.

Lily is up for keeps. Better go. Let's see if I can slap a pic on here before I go (the real reason you all will tune in!)
