It's beautiful outside today - 59 degrees and nothing but blue skies. I had to get our jackets out of the back of our coat closet. We met Heather and Mike and rode the train into Philly - Lily's first train ride. We all had lunch at Reading Terminal Market and shared an Amish apple dumpling for dessert. Later, Lily and I rolled down the windows and sat in the car for a little bit to enjoy the breeze and to watch some kids play. The playground near our house was packed! There were timed tickets entries for the slide. Crazy!

Lily's baptism was really nice. The service went well and she was well behaved. She did kinda lean back to look at Phil when he put water on her head, as if to say, "WHAT are you doing?" Her reception at the Ferners was nice. A friend gave Lily a pretty blue hydrangea that I'd like to plant to commemerate the day. I hope to have a link up soon for the webcast...

Well, I'd better get to work on the house. H&M are coming over for dinner. Menu? Ramen noodles, PB&J and spaghetti-o's. Something quick and easy.

Love to you all! Here is a pic of Lily reading one of her peekaboo books. You lift the flaps to see and touch the toys (with fur, like Pat the Bunny). She is now pretty disappointed in every other book when she tries to open the flap that doesn't exist.

Looking forward to seeing the baptism video - We were home from church (blizzard), and all set up in front of the computer, like a TV show, to watch the webcast. Just about the time you finished the Apostle's Creed we had a "power blink" that was barely discernable, but caused the modem to loose the connection. When I couldn't get the link back I had to reset and restart everything which took about 30 minutes - totally missing the baptisms. So keep working on the video version.
