little red wagon

What a sweet girl! She reminds me of Holly Hobbie in this picture. Lily took a ride in her little red wagon today. (I'll try to send some pics via Picasa as well.) She was having a ball! She sat very still and didn't try to climb out; she really enjoyed the ride. We finally have really great weather. Lily and I have taken nature walks in our back yard after work this week to spot birds. She looooves birds. We have a lot of hawks in this area. Since they are so big and slow, they are very easy to point out to Lily. I bought a birdfeeder to hang ut side the kitchen window so we could watch birds come by, but we changed our mind after realizing our squirrel problem...

There is a squirrel living in our roof! I first heard it Thursday morning while getting ready for work. We bought a trap and set it out yesterday with some sunflower seeds and caught our first squirrel in a few hours. Since Jamin was at work, Ron was sweet enough to drive it to the woods for me (which is illegal in NJ!) We were wondering if we caught the roof squirrel until this morning when it woke us up at 5:30am, scratching around above our bed. We got up immediately and set the trap on the roof, using peanut butter and seeds as bait. We had another squirrel by noon. We are REALLY hoping it is the roof squirrel. Ron and Jamin are going to fix the holes once they return from the woods. The little bugger ripped the siding off of our house in two places to get in! I'm going to go do some work in the bedroom so I can listen to make sure it's truly gone. The last thing we want to do is close up the holes with the squirrel on the inside...
