Sweet Lily

Here's a cute message from Sarah, Lily's sitter: "Lily is doing great today. Was not hungry at lunch. She was shaking her head "no" and trying to swat at the spoon early in the meal. She still ate some, just not all she normally does. She is just such a sweet girl. She loves the other babies- she makes the cutest faces at them and tries so hard to interact with them. I am about to put her down in a bit for a nap. See you later."

Lily is doing really well. She is very social. Last week we had a playdate: her friend was not at all interested in Lily, but she kept coming over to him, smiling and trying to pat and hug him. She does really well in the nursery. I haven't been called out of church for months, not since she was smaller and nursing every few hours. She has been a little clingy lately. Seems only mommy will do in the evenings, or for a diaper change, meal, etc. She's fine when she's on the floor, playing with her toys. She loves books more than any other toys. She is fond of her piano, bathtub toys, and a little workbench of Jason's that you push balls through.

Can you believe she will be 1 year old in less than a month? Here is a pic from mom's visit in March.

Here is Lily skiing through the dining room. She figured this out on her own...
