Sickly Lily

Lily is finally over her recent illness; she had some kind of sinus infection plus fever. She wasn"t too miserable - she was actually kind of cute! And very snuggly - I miss cuddling her! Now she is go-go-go all the time and won"t sit still for very long. I remember Lauren during this phase, too. Here is Lily, in her sick cocoon, watching Sesame Street.



The tile backsplash in our kitchen is done; it looks beautiful. Next on the list is the hearth. Jamin and his dad are hanging a new basement door with an opening for Jones so we can keep that door locked. And they are hanging a new french door leading up to our bedroom. Should be pretty, and it will let a bit more light downstairs. My job this weekend is to get the house in shape for mom!

Here are a few pics before I sign off. The first is Lily pulling herself to stand in her crib for the first time. She was very proud of herself!




This one is of her play area in the living room. Of all her toys, look at what she loves the most: her books! She is her Granny's grandbaby!
